Stakeholders wade into the weeds of Clean Air Act in regulatory reform feedback

Dockets on the federal government’s Regulations.gov do not often trend, in the traditional sense of social media. But the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s regulatory reform docket certainly got people talking - and commenting. The now-closed docket received just under 60,000 responses, of which around 25,000 were available May 16, a day after the comment period formally closed. Thousands of comments from the general public expressed concern about the administration’s plans to rollback environmental regulations, similar to the rush of comments received when the docket was originally opened.
