Air King receives two EPA energy awards

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has recognized Air King as the 2014 Energy Star Partner of the Year. The company was also given the Sustained Excellence Award and the Climate Communications Award. This marks the third straight year that the company has received the partner award, which recognizes Air King's commitment to energy efficiency. The company has been recognized for adding Energy Star-qualified exhaust fans and range hoods to its product line; being top pledge driver in the "Change the World, Start With Energy Star" campaign; and focusing on education initiatives to help build awareness and support of the Energy Star certification program. Air King was also lauded for putting a carbon footprint calculator on its website.
