This book gives me no problem to review and recommend as, on receipt of the review copy, 1 immediately ordered one together with the other three on railways in this part of Yorkshire issued by the same publisher.* Volume 1 of this series, on Bradford (covering the Midland Lines) was reviewed in Journal 910 (pp 171-2) and the review of this volume can only echo what I said then. If you are interested in this part of the country around the end of the steam era it is one of the best books of images I have come across and my library of books covering Yorkshire railways is fairly extensive.
