First Day Cover for 'Jack the Station Cat'

On Saturday 14 August The Bala Lake Railway (BLR) celebrated the tenth anniversary of the 'Jack the Station Cat' series of children's books by SLS member Alan Cliff, with the launch of a special first day cover. The station shop at Llanuwchllyn, was the first railway shop to stock Jack books. The limited edition cover (250) was designed by Buckingham Covers for the railway to the requirements of Roger Hine the General Manager of the BLR.
