Review of Harnessing Production Network Impacts and Policy Implications from Thailand's Manufacturing Industries

摘要

International production networks have been a phenomenon in international trade during the 21st century. Due to improvements in communication technology, a reduction in trade costs and the deeper integration among countries to alleviate cross-border policy effects, it is more efficient to perform various stages of production in different countries according to their comparative advantages. International trade statistics reveal that the occurrence of such networks is solid in East Asia, including Thailand.
