ISAAC NEWTON: DP2 Cable laying/trenching support/subsea rock installation vessel

The multipurpose vessel ISAAC NEWTON was launched at the Croatian shipyard Uljanik Brodogradiliste in March 2015. The ship can be deployed on a variety of projects: installing subsea cables, trench dredging and subsea rock installation, which definitely makes it unique. In cable-installation mode the vessel will be capable of transporting and laying cable in a single length with a total weight of approximately 10,500tonnes, which is more than any other vessel currently available.
