Mary Yager is the proposal manager for Serco Incorporated. A retired U.S. Navy chief warrant officer, Yager has been active in the Hampton Roads Chapter for six years. She serves as chair of the chapter's Education and Scholarship Committee—a position she has filled since September 2009. Prior to that time, she was both a member of the committee and chapter secretary. Yager strongly promotes the educational mission of the chapter and fosters science, technology, engineering and mathematics education in the region. Under Yager's leadership, the Science Teaching Tools awards program continues to strengthen.
