The military has sought improved connectivity since wireless communications allowed forces and leaders to connect with one another. Now, as millennials enter the force in greater numbers, their taste for mobile links is flavoring the force. This time, industry is likely to provide the capability breakthroughs that the military will need in future conflict. SIGNAL'S October 2017 issue examines some of the tactical connectivity efforts underway along with blueprints for the future.
