The fact that the railway can score points thanks to its climate footprint is omnipresent. For this reason alone, it can be assumed that a growing number of people and goods will be transported in the future, resulting in higher loads on the infrastructure and thus increased maintenance costs. This stands in contrast to the economic aspects, which also include the efficient safety of track construction sites. The use of permanently installed track warning systems is an interesting option here.
