摘要

The Adaptive Train Routing (ATR) project constitutes part of the digitisation offensive at Austrian Federal Railways (OEBB) and a further important element for the optimisation of operations management. Driving recommendations have been integrated into the traffic management system (TMS) and they are transmitted to the appropriate train driver. Distinctive conflict detection as well as the successive automation of conflict resolution during train journeys are specific steps towards optimising resource utilisation. As a result, the line and network capacities are more efficiently controlled and energy has been saved through the more homogeneous operations management using the ATR.
