EDITORIAL

摘要

Dear readers, the 18th international SIGNAL+DRAHT congress took place in Fulda on 8th and 9th December 2018. The events theme was "Infrastructure versus the Vehicle: where will the future of operations control and signalling technology lie?" and around 250 experts discussed significant questions as to the best system architecture for the future operations control and signalling technology in rail transport: which components will continue to be part of the infrastructure in the future, which will be in the vehicle and which will be in the cloud?
