Classic Hikes in Big Bend National Park, Texas. February 22-28. Escape winter on the Sierra Club's first domestic hiking trip of the year, in remote, sunny Big Bend National Park. Classic day hikes will lead us to camera-clicking views from 2,500-foot cliffs in the rugged Chisos Mountains, through towering canyons, and across miles of beautiful desert. This popular car-camping trip features memorable hikes, stunning scenery, highly rated meals, and a soak in historic hot springs. Springtime in the Smokies, Tennessee. April 12-18. Rejuvenate mind and body alike on a hiking vacation in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Smokies are renowned for their diversity of plants and animals, and we will enjoy spring wildflowers along our hikes. From our base camp in Cades Cove, we will also explore the human history of this ancient land. We may wander to waterfalls and be refreshed by cascading streams.
