Dual mode tester for SDH and PDH

The synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) standard for transmission networks offers greater flexibility, performance, convenience and economy than its predecessor, the plesiochronous digital hierarchy (PDH), and is thus becoming a new worldwide standard. Until the switch to the new standard is complete, however, test equipment is needed suitable for both digital hierarchies. With this in mind, Siemens has developed the K4312 analyzer. The unit not only takes extensive SDH and PDH measurements, but is also easier to operate and more compact than.previous models.
