Cunard have ended speculation that a move to Harwich was on the cards by signing a new contract with Associated British Ports for its flagship Queen Elizabeth 2 and the Caronia, formerly Vistafjord, to continue operating from Southampton. Larry Pimentel, Cunard's president, gave the news when the new look Seabourn Sun, ex-Royal Viking Sun, visited Southampton following a £10 million refit in Bremerhaven and prior to leaving on a positioning cruise to her new operational base at Fort Lauderdale.
