Earl of the seas

The anchor-handling supply ship Anglian Earl is typical of her type, with superstructure forward, large open deck aft and, like all anchor handlers, she is ready for work in the most testing of sea conditions and harshest of environments. Since November 2003 she has been operated by Lowestoft-based Klyne Tugs, the largest independent towage and salvage company in the UK, and employed mainly in support of the company's ETV fleet during two refits. She has also been involved in rig moves, a tow and towards the end of the year she was put out of action.
