Briggs marine contactorsrnof Burntisland in Scotland has brought its new anchor-handling tug Kingdom of Fife back to the UK to work on Admiralty moorings, working with Serco Denholm. The impressive new vessel wasrncompleted by Damen Shipyards in July 2008 and has been working abroad. A multi-purpose vessel of 61m in length, Kingdom of Fife is powered by Caterpillar engines generating 5,440bhp, giving the tug a bollard pull of 68 tonnes. Other recent deliveries to Briggs include the anchor-handler Forth Hunter.
