The weather was anything but Caribbean for two separate November 2009 ceremonies marking important milestones for the Trinidad & Tobago Coast Guard's offshore patrol vessel (OPV) project. Despite strong winds, TTS Port of Spain was named after the Republic's capital, on 18 November, when the honours were performed with the smashing of a bottle of Angostura Rum.
