Propeller changes for DFDS pair

New propeller blades are being fitted to DFDS' Copenhagen-Oslo route vessels Crown of Scandinavia (1994/35,498gt) and Pearl of Scandinavia (1989/40,039gt) in a fuel-saving initiative. Speed has already been reduced, causing later arrivals in the two capital cities, but existing propellers are not optimal to the current 17.5 knots service speed. Pearl of Scandinavia's propeller blades will be replaced during a planned dry docking and overhaul from 6 to 21 January while Crown of Scandinavia makes a special docking from 6 to 10 March.
