New Calais-Dover link opens

DFDS and Louis Dreyfus Armateurs were due to open their new service between Calais and Dover on 17 February, initially using one ship, the LD Lines-owned Norman Spirit, which from November 2011 had been deployed as a fourth vessel on the DFDS Dover-Dunkirk route. Norman Spirit finished Dunkirk sailings on 27 January and spent ten days in Dunkirk for repainting and internal improvements to the shop and catering areas.
