Larger ship but fewer cruises

The ship chosen by Taaj Croisieres for its 2014 programme, which comprises four cruises in the spring, is Costa Classica (199V52,926gt), which is considerably larger than the ship that is being used this year. However, during 2013 Costa Voyager (2000/24,430gt) will make a total of six cruises for the company in September and October, all within the Mediterranean, and starting and finishing in Marseille. Two of the 2014 cruises will be round trips from Dunkerque, one of which will call at Scottish and Norwegian ports, while the other will head into the Baltic. Taaj have used other Costa ships in the past, notably Costa Marina in 2011 and Costa Allegra in 2012. Taaj has been chartering ships, on a seasonal basis, for its cruise division since 1988.
