The 4,700dwt Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) Dina Star (4,826gt), designed by Norwegian company Marin Teknikk, will serve as a multipurpose oilfield supply and construction vessel in the North Sea. ABB supplied the Onboard DC (direct current) Grid system, including all power, propulsion, automation and advisory systems. Dina Star is the first vessel to have this system fitted. which allows the ship to operate at the highest energy efficiency level to minimise emissions.
