Noting that the caption to the Piraeus port photo accompanying Jim Shaw's voyage report (SM, Feb 2013) only identifies two of the vessels, here is more detail about the other ships. At the extreme left in the background lies Kavounides' Orion, used on seven-day cruises in the Eastern Med. Italian-built in 1953 as Achilleus, she had twin exhausts behind her domed funnel, reflecting her conversion to a motorship in 1979.
