The cruise ships Oriana and Aurora were built for P&O as part of the expansion and development of the company at the end of the 20th century. Both ships were ordered by Lord Stirling and built at the German shipyard of Meyer Werft. The standards of these two ships were unique, as they were the only crutse ships designed and built exclusively for the British market.
