A Legend becomes a Star

On 20 April the small cruise ship Seabourn Legend docked for the last rime at Civitavecchia after a final cruise around the Mediterranean. She was the last of the original Seabourn 'triplets' and was in the vanguard of ultra-luxury cruising for nearly two decades. She was also unique in the industry in that she was the star of a Hollywood action movie, Speed 2: Cruise Control. She has been revamped and rebranded, but, with her relatively diminutive size and intimate private club atmosphere, has she a future in a market increasingly populated by mega cruise ships?
