Quantum debuts at Southampton

On 29 October 2014 Royal Caribbean International's latest new cruise ship, Quantum of the Seas, arrived in Southampton, with the company describing her as the first ever smartship and most technologically advanced cruise ship in the world'. She is the first in class; the second in class, Anthem of the Seas, is due to debut and be based in the UK in 2015. Among the innovative features on board Quantum are high-speed internet connections and faster boarding using new technology, and she offers a series of other firsts, like robotic bartenders and digital shows on Roboscreens.
