The Yantar shipyard has delivered a third Project 11356 frigate to the Russian Navy. Admiral Makarov was handed over during November, becoming the third ship of the class to be delivered in 2016. The first two, Admiral Crigorovich and Admiral Essen, were commissioned on 11 March and 7 June respectively.
