Key figures from the recent operational history of the paddle steamer Waverley departed after an extraordinary general meeting had been called by shareholders to propose a vote of no confidence in their performance. Waverley Steam Navigation Co chairman Lawrie Sinclair, Waverley Excursions chairman Vic Emery and chief executive Kathleen O'Neill all resigned, together with several of the directors.
