Irish Ferries blamed adverse weather for cancelled Dublin Swift sailings on the Central Corridor route between Dublin and Holyhead, although, on a number of the days concerned, other vessels appeared to have completed their schedules without problems. One or both of the advertised round trips scheduled for the 2001-built Austal catamaran were cancelled on 15, 16, 17 and 18 September, and it was the same story on 19 September, when Storm Ali hit the Irish Sea, with further cancellations for the 820-passenger/8,403gt vessel, although on this occasion ro-pax Epsilon and Isle of Innishmore also suffered cancellations.
