Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was founded in 1917 and is the shipbuilding division of Tsuneishi Group, which is now expanding its new shipbuilding and repair operations at four locations: the Tsuneishi and Tadotsu factories of the Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.; the factories at Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu), Inc. in the Philippines; and Tsuneishi Group (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding Inc. on Xiushan Island in China. There are currently over 10,000 employees worldwide (including employees at affiliates). The company's product range includes bulk carriers, tankers, car carriers and woodchip carriers. Tsuneishi Shipbuilding develops, builds and offers their global customers vessels to match a variety of market needs.
