Lifting and lashing specialist RUD Ketten recently launched a range of new products. One is the ICE LBG SR, a VLBG-type threaded lashing point with asymmetrical force application featuring a patented dual ball bearing. The SR in its name stands for "super rotation", i.e., the unique feature that allows loads to be rotated even at maximum capacity. This comes into its own when loads need to be turned, tipped or rotated. According to RUD, the new development minimises wear caused by steel-on-steel friction and ensures the safe handling of very high loads thanks to the use of a very special type of screw.
