Kidde Fire Systems Launches Sbs

Global fire detection and suppression systems provider, Kidde Fire Systems, has announced - through its Marine Systems division - its new US Coast Guard-approved SBS Fire Protection System for small to medium-sized commercial vessels. The SBS System offers clean agent fire suppression with optimised fire detection, fire suppression agent distribution and cylinder placement. It is developed to react to elevated temperatures associated with machinery space fire, such as in an engineroom, and it features a patent-pending thermo-bulb heat detector.
