Sound damping sandwich steel

The Swedish company Antiphon AB has introduced its latest product on to the market for structure-borne sound damping, the Antiphon MPM.rnAntiphon MPM (metal-polymer-metal) foiled; is a sheet metal laminate with a thin foil on one side. The core material comprises two pieces of zinc-coated sheet steel, laminated with an acoustic inner layer to obtain the best structure-borne sound damping. MPM has laminated sandwich systems for more visible environments and has chosen MPM foiled as a decoration material where sound damping is to be used. MPM foiled is used when the demands for appearance as well as function are high. Aluminium is also an option as core material.
