Eco tugs ordered

Svitzer has announced in it latest environmental plan that it will focus on three elements: fuel efficiency programme, new tug design and alternative fuels.rnAs part of this plan Svitzer has set a target for the CO_2 emissions of the company to be reduced by 1% each year through the years 2008-2012.rnIn pursuit of emission reductions the Danish based towage provider has just placed the first order for two environmental friendly tugs. The new tug design incorporates a number of new innovative technologies.
