Yachts are incorporating the complexity of military vessel design, with options more open than ever before courtesy of a wide range of 3D software design tools. What do a yacht and a warship have in common? On the face of it, there appears to be little to link the leisure and naval sectors, other than a stream of hotly pursued tenders and a wide variety of software tools to aid with vessel design.
