Dometic Group's acquisition of engine room ventilation solutions specialist Livos Technologies, which was formally announced in October this year, would appear to be a perfect match. While the latter group has focused primarily on keeping engine rooms functional at the correct temperature and amount of air pressure, Dometic's remit has been on provision of HVAC systems for personnel spaces, saloons, helm stations and public areas aboard a range of smaller vessels, including superyachts, leisure craft and workboats, as well as the cooling of electronics and heat-creating equipment within these areas.
