Massachusetts-based Ribcraft USA is continuing to attract a stream of domestic orders from the law enforcement and military sectors, one of its most recent deliveries being a mission-specific Ribcraft 7.8 model for the Decatur Police Department (PD), Alabama. Based on the Tennessee River, the city of Decatur features a number of industrial and chemical plants on its shoreline, identified as constituting a risk in terms of potential facility accidents, as well as posing potential targets for a terrorist strike, and it is with these concerns in mind that the RIB has been specially customised.
