Lucia leaves the blocks

Wisconsin's Burger Boat Company has launched a 27.3m loa steel passenger vessel, Lucia, on behalf of Chicago-based tour operator Wendella Sightseeing Co, Inc. Designed by Timothy Graul Marine Design, Lucia features a 9.1m beam, a maximum draught of 1.7m and a displacement of 131tonnes. Featuring a capacity of up to 340 guests, the vessel is powered by two Caterpillar C12 main engines, generating 287kW each, resulting in a top speed of 12knots.
