Grateful for the extra space

Danish shipbuilder Karstensens Skibsvaerft has added to an already impressive orderbook by landing a contract from the Eshcol Fishing Company of Scotland for a pelagic trawler of 69.95m length overall. Scheduled to be delivered in July 2017, the vessel will be named Grateful, under the ownership of the Whyte family, based at Fraserburgh. She will replace the 64m Forever Grateful, which was built in 2001, and will take up the existing vessel's operating pattern in the traditional pelagic trawl fishery, mainly targeting mackerel and herring.
