ACO Marine supplies Ukrainian tug trio

Wastewater treatment solutions provider ACO Marine reports that it has been contracted to supply three of its Clarimar MF-0.5 treatment units to a trio of steel tugs under construction at the Nibulon Shipbuilding and Repair Yard, located on the Southern Bug River, Ukraine. The Clarimar MF-0.5 series is the smallest range of treatment systems manufactured by ACO Marine; occupying a footprint of 1.63m2, this system features a daily water treatment capacity of 1.2m3 (1,200litres). ACO Marine describes the Clarimar MF-0.5 as being an ideal fit for each of the tugs, which are being built to the specs of Nibulon's 121M class. Each tug in this series features an overall length of 27.88m, an overall beam of 9m and a depth of 2.7m, and displaces 254tonnes.
