Ribcraft's US branch has delivered a patrol RIB, intended for round-the-clock law enforcement and rescue missions, to the Pender County Sheriff's Office, North Carolina. Built to the specs of Ribcraft's 6.5 class, the RIB measures 6.5m x 2.6m overall (or 4.98m x 1.68m internally), and is powered by a single Yamaha outboard, rated 130.5kW, aiding it to achieve speeds in excess of 50knots. The craft has also been fitted with a Stokes basket system to retrieve man overboard casualties.
