Located amongst a small cluster of shipyards in the north of Altinova, Sefine Shipyard has come a long way since it was established in 2005. The 140,000m2 newbuilding and repair site has produced vessels ranging from double-ended ferries to larger cargo vessels, and has also maintained its healthy orderbook with a series of contracts for new high-tech fishing vessels. The yard is currently working on what's been billed as the world's largest-hold capacity fish carrier to date, turning a More Maritime design into an 83.7m × 30.9m wellboat for Norwegian owner Frøy Rederi.
