摘要

To study the influence of the shape and position of the primary conductor on the Rogowski coil, this paper presents a theoretical derivation of mutual inductance between Rogowski coil and conductors with any shape and any position. Based on this, we study a gap compensation method for openable Rogowski coil with a gap. The validity of the compensation method is verified by comparing the theoretical and experimental results after compensation with those for the no-gap case. To verify the theoretical results of the derivation, we carry out experiments with three Rogowski coils and five common shapes of primary conductors in several representative positions. The three Rogowski coils include cases of with and without a gap, and with and without gap compensation. The five kinds of primacy conductor include straight, tilted, curvilinear, D-shaped, in and out the hole of Rogowski coil. The numerical calculations and experiments are both carried out and verify the theoretical results of the calculation method.
