March is the beginning of spring in Zhoushan, when everything is recovering, full of vitality. In such a season of bright hopes and aspirations, we have the honor to join hands with Seatrade to launch this 'Zhoushan Maritime Special Issue,' which pressages even more fruitful achievements and success in the year ahead.rnZhoushan is the only prefecture-level city in China consisting of a number of islands. It is favourably located in the convergence zone of the Chinese North-South shipping channel and the golden waterway of Yangtze River, backing onto the vast economic hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta. The city covers an area of 111,400sq mtr, has 1,390 islands and a population of around 1 million.
