Salvage operations become more complex

The International Salvage Union reports that the world is changing for marine salvors. Although the number of salvage jobs continues to decrease, thanks in the main to safer ships and better operating practices, cases have become more complicated. This, says ISU, can be partly attributed to increasingly challenging environmental requirements insisted upon by coastal state authorities.
