General Atomics Reaper UAS Joins the Marines

"The MQ-9A Reaper can fly at speeds of 240 knots - twice as fast and with nine times the horsepower as the MQ-1B Predator. It can operate up to 45,000 feet above sea level with endurance of 26 hours and can carry a pay-load of 3,850 pounds, 500% more than the MQ-1B Predator. The multisensor MQ-9A is modular and easily configured with a variety of payloads, including electro/optic and infrared targeting systems and the APY-8 Lynx Ⅱ radar as well as laser designators and electronic surveillance systems. Seven hard points can deploy Hellfire missiles, laser-guided bombs and the Joint Direct Attack Munition.
