摘要

Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. earlier opened its Virtual Reality (VR) Theater within its own company in April, 1998. Since then, the company has applied know-how acquired through presentations conducted over 1,000 times as well as through its image processing technology developed during its years of business as a printing company, and has been supplying integrated services from the designing and delivery of theater facilities to quality VR content planning and production. In April, 2000, the company opened a new theater equipped with an ultralarge curved screen 12 m (480 in) wide and 4 m (160 in) tall in its Koishikawa Building.
