New Advanced SWRO From MHI

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) built three large seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plants since 1980's and these three plants have been operating stably so far. In recent years, the reduction of water production cost and application of SWRO to the polluted sea area are expected in the world. MHI is promoting research and development on the technology for worldwide needs. The advantages of MHI SWRO are as follows, 1) High-performance pretreatment system that is applicable to various seawater quality, especially high turbidity area. 2) Standardization technology for HPP (High Pressure Pump)-RO-ERD (Energy Recovery Device) system applying high recovery and high efficiency technology. 3) Concurrent engineering by R & D center and design department.
