'WWW' Stands Also For Web, Wireless and WSIS?

A Thematic Meeting of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) — organized by the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the International Telecommunication Union and United Nations University — known as the Tokyo Ubiquitous Network Conference met at a centrally-located venue in Japan's capital city for two days, from May 16. After the respective head of the organizer entities opened the meeting, followed by presentations by the inventor of TRON and chair of the MIT Media Lab as well as statements from major stakeholders, the Keynote Speech was delivered. The Keynoter was Nomura Research Institute~* Chief Counselor Teruyasu Murakami, speaking on the significance of the idea and the realization of a ubiquitous network society as well as of international cooperation in relation to said society. A variety of sessions and working groups met and closed successfully. The second phase of the WSIS will be held from November 16 this year in Tunis.
