Establishment of China Research Center, JST

摘要

The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) established the China Research Center in April, with the aim (A) of aiding the development of science and technology in both China and Japan through exchange in scientific and technical fields between both nations and of (B) contributing to the establishment of a platform for the promotion of mutual understanding. A symposium to commemorate the opening of the Center was held on July 18 at the U Thant International Conference Hall at the United Nations University in Tokyo. The event was organized by JST and sponsored by the Japan-China Economic Association.
