INELASTIC SCATTERING OF CHARGED PARTICLES BY ARGON ATOM

摘要

We apply the close coupling approximation for electron and positron inelastic scattering by inert argon atom. The differential scattering cross section (DCS), Integral cross section (ICS), collision strength (Ω) and effective collision strength (γ) have been computed. The calculated values are compared with other theoretical calculation (DWBA) and experimental data (wherever available). The cross sections are in good agreement with experimental result. More calculations are still in progress and may be seen in near future publications.
